Please thoroughly review this policy prior to reserving a booking. By reserving a charter with MutualResourceForum, you are acknowledging and consenting to these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Entire refund excluding processing expenses
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for credit card payments
Conditions: Request must be made in written form via email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 deducted from the refund amount
Conditions: Justification required; administrative expenses apply
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not provided
Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into account
Alternative: Credit for a charter may be offered at the company's discretion
Conditions: Emergency claims require supporting documentation
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Our highest priority is safety. If conditions are considered unsafe for our charter operations by our certified captain, we provide flexible alternatives:
- Full Refund: Given if rearranging is unachievable
- Reschedule: Reschedule your charter to an upcoming available spot at no extra charge
- Charter Credit: Issuance of a credit valid for 12 months from the original charter date
Weather Assessment Process
Our evaluation of the weather includes:
- Analysis of wind speed and course
- Wave height and the state of the sea
- Visibility and forecast precipitation
- Warnings and advisories from the Coast Guard
- Captain's safety evaluation based on professional judgment
Decision Timeline: The choice to cancel due to adverse weather will be made no less than 4 hours before the scheduled departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
In the case of medical emergencies, the following scenarios may be eligible for special consideration:
- Sudden medical condition or injury needing hospital admission
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Military responsibilities or urgent recall
- Mandatory court appearances or jury duty
- Natural disasters impacting travel
Documentation Requirements
To facilitate emergency refund applications, we require:
- A doctor’s note or hospital documentation
- A death certificate (where relevant)
- Official orders from the military
- Notice of court attendance or jury summons
- Travel warnings or emergency declarations
Processing: Upon receiving the necessary documentation, emergency reimbursements are processed within 3-5 business days.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
If the vessel allocated to you encounters mechanical difficulties that are unresolvable:
- Alternative Vessel: Our aim is to supply an equivalent replacement
- Full Refund: Provided when no satisfactory alternative is available
- Partial Refund: Issued if the replacement vessel has a different pricing structure
- Compensation: Additional reparation may be offered for the inconvenience caused
Crew Unavailability
In the infrequent case that a certified crew is not available:
- An alternate crew is arranged if feasible
- Complete refund in instances where the charter cannot proceed
- Rescheduling at no added costs
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are reissued via the same method originally utilized for the booking:
- Credit Cards: Within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Takes 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Processed in 3-5 business days
Processing Fees
Credit Card Processing
A €50 charge for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance
Bank Transfer Processing
There is a €25 charge for all refunds transacted via bank transfer
International Processing
For transactions outside the domestic area, additional fees may be applicable
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
Credits for charters may be proposed as an alternative to reimbursements under specific scenarios:
- Late cancellations (under 24 hours’ notice)
- Cancellations due to weather
- Voluntary requests to adjust the schedule
- Disruptions of operational nature
Credit Terms
- Validity: Credits are valid for a year from the date they are issued
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Value: Corresponds to the entire value of the charter without deduction of any processing charges
- Usage: Credits can be applied to any available future charter
- Expiration: There is no extension permitted past 12 months
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
In the event your charter is disrupted or curtailed for reasons within our governance:
- Refund proportionate to the undelivered time
- Credit for another charter of equivalent value
- Additional complimentary services or improvements
Guest-Related Interruptions
Should a charter finish ahead of schedule due to guest misbehavior or safety infractions:
- No reimbursement for the balance of the service
- Full payment is still required
- Extra costs may apply
Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement over a refund decision, you may:
- Ask for a reassessment by our executive team
- Present additional documents or evidence
- Reach out to consumer protection bodies
- Explore legal avenues as permitted by law

Step 3: Review and Processing
Our representatives will confirm receipt of your request within a day, evaluate it according to this policy, make a decision within two days, and if authorized, will proceed with the refund as per the given timelines.

- All refund applications must be made in a written format
- Reimbursements are issued in € notwithstanding the currency used for the original transaction
- It is highly recommended to get travel insurance
